GREEN INITIATIVE TOUR OF HOLIDAY INN DOHA THE BUSSINESS PARK

HOLIDAY INN DOHA THE BUSINESS PARK is one of the IHG hotel which had designed and implemented with lot of Green initiatives in various part of the hotel.

We take extremes pride to display and explain the team members to for their understanding to further cascade to the new members of the team and our guest.

On 9th of October afternoon 4 Pm to 5pm hotel green tour will be conducted .

Qatar Sustainability Week

  • Energy: Turn off lights and AC when not in use and set the AC temperature at 24 degree Celsius
  • Transportation: Encourage compound students to use bicycle or walk to school
  • Planting: each class will be engaged in planting activities
  • Waste: awareness presentations by secondary students focusing on recycling, ban on plastic, think twice before you print etc
  • Well being: Physical, social and mental health - Students and teachers are encouraged to eat vegetables and plant based food items.

Smart Water Management

We at Jouri A Murwab Hotel placing tent cards for water saving tips to our guest rooms and enhance customers awareness on water conservation and providing appropriate training to staff.

We persistently comparing current water consumption with previous records from water bills to identify areas that can be improved and to enhance water use efficiency. 

We are limiting the environmental impact by reducing the consumption of Water and Detergents by Encourage guests to support the “Reuse Towel and Linen” program,

Create a Green Wall

On October 13, the students will be working on the “Green Wall” activity as a step to value the importance of sustainability. The students will be given time and the needed materials to work on all the stages of the activity and reach the final product. They will collect water bottles to use them for planting and building the wall. The students will be aware that this activity will create a culture of sustainability in the school, which will encourage everyone to save our planet.
