All Warwick Doha Hotel team will refresh their cupboard and items and donate everything they can and submit them to the HR department then we can send all donation items one time to one of the charity organizations.

Eco Club

We have 30 active members from grades 6-12 that meet for one hour every Wednesday to address different environmental issues. Students have divided themselves into various committees each working on achieving a particular environmental goal. Please see document for details: Eco Club Committees Reporting Document

Street Child World Cup

Hybrid Work is becoming the most favored working model in this post-pandemic era. It is said to be more sustainable and cost-effective as it offers less commute which can support a reduction in carbon emissions due to less transport and provides more flexible work hours to balance work and family life.

American School of Doha is hosting visiting teams from Street Child World Cup and celebrating Qatar Sustainability Week with a Meatless Monday. Our MS/HS cafeteria will be serving a variety of delicious foods that have a more sustainable impact on the environment.

Is our community wondering why a meal without meat helps the environment? We will look at the benefits to a plant-based diet. We hope to encourage more meatless choices in our community after this tasty experience.

'Meatless Monday'- we are encouraging students and staff to use vegan and vegetarian options for their first and second break snacks. We are helping our parents by encouraging the use of our own Doha College Meatless March Cookbook, we created last year and can be used by the public here https://issuu.com/dohacollege/docs/eco-dei-commitee_cookbook-v2.0

'Turn off Tuesday'- turn the lights off period 1 across the whole of the Doha College Primary and Secondary School.

We are doing a whole school charity collection for unwanted clothes. This initiative will allow those unfortunate to receive items of clothing from families throughout our school.
