ضمن المشاركة في أسبوع قطر للاستدامة لعام 2020، قامت وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية بتوعية المشاركين في البرامج التدريبية التي يقدمها معهد الإدارة العامة عن أسبوع قطر للاستدامة وذلك من خلال تقديم عرض مختصر عن الاستدامة قبل بدء البرامج التدريبية، لتشجيعهم على تقديم المبادرات المختلفة للاستدامة .
بمناسبة أسبوع قطر للاستدامة ٢٠٢٠، تتعاون وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية مع شركة سكك الحديد القطرية (الرّيل) من خلال تشجيع الموظفين لاستخدام المترو والتقليل من استخدام السيارات الخاصة بهدف المساهمة في توفير بيئة نظيفة وصحية للجميع.
Encourage the Mosanada employees and Office users to adopt eco-friendly initiatives geared at reducing waste nationwide and to remind the public that reducing the use of Qatar’s resources not only can improve business efficiency, but help to preserve the environment’s long-term health. The Campaign also has an added benefit of supporting the under privileged.
Circulation of the Sustainability pledge for employee signature and compliance. Highlights the Social Responsibility to the employees and emphasizes on comppliance.
Recycling of E-waste consolidated from all MFMS venues.
Circulation of email flyers to highlight the type of E-waste collected.
*IT appliances: laptops, PCs, telephones, mobile phones etc and small appliances
*Small appliances: iron, blow dryers etc.
Outcome of this workshop: providing awareness on sustainable living to make small
changes in our daily life to reduce plastic use. The Idea and concept behind this workshop,
is to use a simple organic jute bag, making it into a piece of art by painting on it.
Which can be used for travelling, shopping or picnic etc. Just to avoid plastic bags!
Les Roses Real Estate and OCS Qatar are very please to say that all their compounds are successfully recycling their garbage since 2019.
Recycling paper, cardboard, plastic and metal from our residents household is helping to reduce the amount of waste which is a crucial and a simple step forwards building a greener community.
Recycling containers are located at convenient areas of each compound and marked with sticker that explains what items residents may place in each bins.
Turning wealth out of waste is such an important part of understanding the concept of sustainability.
We will be teaching our staff members at the hotel how to create decorative cloth bags out of waste material which they can substitute for plastic bags during the process of shopping for groceries.
This workshop will be taking place on 2nd November 2020 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM respectively and will be conducted by renowned artist Ms. Amber Rauf.
