We will be doing a number of activities to make our school Green

Multi activities delivered across 3 days, the activities will be to raise awareness about a variety of issues that range from water security to quality of air and food wastage.

Michael E. DeBakey School for health professions students will participate in multiple activities and presentations showing the ways in which sustainability can be found in Education and Health.

To conserve Energy - The Avenue Team will be using natural day light in offices and staff cafeteria during working and meal hours.

We are dedicated to maintaining a sustainable and responsible company and strive to reduce our environmental footprint, deepen our social impact, and strengthen our corporate governance in Qatar.

in cooperation with the medical team we will create blood donation event during the Qatar Sustainable week 2020. We will invite all guests and hotel staff to participate in this volunteering event.

We have installed water flow restrictors in all public and in-room bathrooms for guests and employees alike within the hotel in order to promote sustainability and limit consumption of our natural resources.

We have replaced our plastic based straws, stirrers and take away bags with eco-friendly alternatives and are in the process of replacing in-room plastic based amenities and take away boxes along with cutlery for food items as well.

We as a community will be conducting different awareness activities includes physical as well as online events to make community members aware of environmental issue & how to tackle them by following different measures.
