The Belgium Embassy in Collaboration with AL Wakra Municipality will do a beach clean up for the embassy and the belgium Nationals.
We are trying to limit printing by encouraging our clients to focus on digital means of communicating. For our upcoming conference in November we directed everyone to the website - no printing of brochures for delegates or sponsors. For registration we will use hard paper printed name badge which do not require inserting in plastic name tags.

In line with MACE commitment to the community we work in and to the sustainability of the environment, MACE started in various site offices the implementation of recycling and energy and water saving, in details we have done the following:
1- Recycling of plastic and paper in Hamad international airport (HIA) project office.
On the 31stof October 2019 a sustainability event will be hosted at the DTPS site offices, to mark the Qatar Sustainability Week. The topic is Eco-driving.
Eco-driving or green driving is a series of actions you can take to become a more careful driver resulting in fewer emissions and less wasted fuel. Not to mention the money you’ll save at the pump. Studies show the average driver can reduce the fuel they use by up to 25 % by following the following guidelines of eco-driving.
As part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2019 and to achieve the goal to a greener environment, OCS HSQE will collect unnecessary papers and recyclable materials to each OCS departments and share ideas to staff the importance of recycling.
Meatless Monday and Plastic free cafeteria day (working with the cafeteria company to make this long term)
With the help of Greener Qatar, the staff will learn about recycling efforts and to be aware of their item use and daily routine.
Climate change calls for radical solutions. The existing framework and vision are incapable of imagining and envisioning a new and bolder future that recognizes the limits to growth and at the same time, ensuring human well-being. The way we organize the economy and society, our interaction with natural systems must change and redefine prosperity and growth.
