Architecture Photography Exhibition by Emerging Artists in Qatar. The theme addresses sustainability under three main categories: Fragile Earth, Qatari Vernacular Architecture and Sustainable Lifestyle.

Sustainable construction practices are a core value of Larsen and Toubro (L&T). Operating in Qatar, examples of L&T’s initiatives that promote efficient resource use, diversion of waste from landfill and recycling include the following:

1. Reuse of waste asphalt on temporary access roads as well as sharing of this asphalt waste with neighboring contractors. This both reduces the quantity of waste disposed at landfills (where capacity is under pressure) and mitigates nuisance dust caused by construction activities that can negatively impact the public.
