A meeting with designers & retailers to discuss and share best practices in sustainable fashion. The meeting will include an analysis on the challenges facing designers in Qatar in terms of following sustainable practices, as well as possible solutions, which will later be shared as a document to all participating designers. 

In recognition of World Stroke Day, Al Wakrah team will organizing an awareness event to educate the public about Stroke prevention and treatment with distributing the educational materials.

OVERVIEW

The EMS Secondary School will host a Sustainability and Cancer Awareness Fair on October 31st. We are linking the 2 awareness issues because sustainable and healthy living are reciprocal and intermutual. With a student population of approximately 900 students in Secondary, awareness and action plans can have a lasting impact on Qatar and the international world that the students move onto in the future.

We at Nokhba Travel & Tours have initiated this activity to GoGreen and supporting Qatar Sustainability Week 2019.

Our initiative for this year is GreenTickets, during this event we will provide awareness to our customers about the sustainability and therefore we shall email the Flight & Hotel tickets instead of printing. the customer also have the choice to select the options GreenTicket or to print.

WWRC will organize an awareness event for Breast Cancer at the hospital lobby and the educators will be presented to answer public inquiries and to distribute the educational materials.

We will discuss all possibilities to go green and save our planet. This is a open form to discuss various options to create awareness on climate change and sustainable development.
