Upcycling also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products,

waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality and environmental value.

Concept: Creative reuse of pallet woods. Making handmade coasters and painting them for home and office daily use.

To promote physical health, sports and fitness while encouraging sustainability through gym clothes and shoes donations, Student Engagement are hosting a charity female football tournament. Qatar Charity will provide boxes where people can donate their clothes that are in good shape to the needy as well as promote sustainability through this process. The tournament will be open to all EC students and alumni as well as the general public to create a sense of community within EC.

A walk through the Souq and an architecture commentary!

In support of the Sustainability week, Join the Architects' Hub Qatar walking tour at Souq Waqif, one of the best heritage and pedestrian Public places in Qatar. Enjoy Architecture commentary and encourage walkability as a life style.

We love Souq Waqif! Its hidden gems and nooks. We will be walking through selected spots and finishing at the Jomrok Boutique hotel where one of our members will be sharing architectural insights about this unique hotel.

PADI have safely guided divers below the surface for over 50 years. Teaching the world's most popular dive curriculum, they transform lives, and open hearts and minds to the hidden beauty of nature's creation and our obligation to protect it.

Join us in this nature tour in the Al Thakira Coast, co-organized with QNHG and led by desert ecologist Dr. Aspa D. Chatziefthimiou and animal tracker aficionado Raviv Cohen. During the tour, especially organized in support of QGBC’s Sustainability Week, we will explore the ecology of the area, and learn how to use ecology and Bedouin practices to track wildlife. A footprint hunt competition will ensue, as well as footprint casting using environmental-friendly plaster.
