Whatever it is, it’s a bummer on a few levels. Not only is it aesthetically unpleasing, it’s a reminder of how careless and inconsiderate people can be. Then there’s the bigger picture problem: the deadly effects of trash on the ecosystem.

The exhibition is organised by the Embassy of Italy to Qatar and is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation along with the Triennale Design Museum from Milan. It showcases design products related to the various uses of water according to their function (cultivating, filtering, collecting, transporting just to name some) with a conceptual link to the theme of environmental sustainability and careful usage of limited natural resources.
