Sustainability project in one of the metro stations.
First, setting up a small event in a cafe inside the metro. We decorate the space with plants and other nature-themed stuff to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere.
Then, having some interactive activities to engage people passing by.

The Ministry of Municipality will be hosting a booth to raise awareness for recycling during Qatar Sustainability Week and hosting Kids activities to raise awareness on Sustainability.
The booth will be located in Center Court - 1st Floor, opposite to Cup of Joe.
During this year’s Sustainability Week, Al Meera customers will have the chance to earn 5 times the Meera Rewards points by depositing bottles or cans in any of Al Meera’s reverse vending machine (RVMs), to encourage customers to recycle their plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Also, customers who purchase reusable bags at any Al Meera branch during Sustainability Week will also receive 5 times the Meera Rewards points, reinforcing the importance of reducing single-use plastic bags.
Al Meera will be launching sustainability driven social media competitions, offering engaging content and exciting giveaways. The competition aims at encouraging participants to share their insights and experiences related to sustainability
