The Lite App has been launched as part of QIB’s commitment to financial inclusion, fostering greater access to financial services for low-income workers. Recognizing the diverse and multicultural fabric of the community, the bank has introduced a simplified version of its flagship QIB Mobile app, available in multiple languages, offering the most popular services required by this segment of customers.

 خوسيه ساوسيدو هو أحد مقدمي البرامج الرئيسيين لدينا ومؤسس مبادرة الاستدامة وتنظيف الشواطئ التطوعية "ديب قطر" (deapqatar).

أسبوع الاستدامة:

We propose hosting a Smart Water Conservation Day to highlight the importance of efficient water usage through the technology implemented in the hotel’s public areas, such as the water sensors in the washrooms. The event would include a guided tour led by our Chief Engineer, Rajeev, showcasing how the water sensors help reduce unnecessary water waste. Additionally, the Marketing team will create and place informative signage in the public washrooms for one day, explaining the environmental impact of these technologies.

This initiative will promote our eco-friendly "Bikes to Borrow" program, inviting Head of Department and colleagues to embrace sustainable transportation. We will host a guided bike tour from Element City Center to Element West Bay, encouraging participants to experience the benefits of green mobility. Along the route, we’ll discuss the importance of reducing carbon footprints and how small actions, like opting to bike, can significantly benefit the environment.

In an initiative to combat climate change, QIB has integrated the Carbon Emission Tracker feature in its Mobile App, a first-of-its-kind in Qatar, to instill environment-friendly card spend behavior among its customers. This cutting-edge feature aims to enlighten customers about the carbon emissions associated with every card transaction, encouraging them to embrace more eco-friendly financial activities.

ينظم المركز القطري لهواة الطوابع والعملات معرض طوابع (زهورنا الجميلة) وذلك بمناسبة اسبوع قطر للاستدامة 2024 في قاعة عرض الطوابع في مقر المركز بالسد.

حيث يقوم المركز بعرض 3 فريمات زجاجية للطوابع ، كل فريم يحتوي على 16 لوحة ، تحتوي على اجمل طوابع الزهور والورود وذلك بمناسبة اسبوع قطر للاستدامة ، حيث يتم تعريف الاجيال بالمحافظة على الزهور والورود من منظور بيئي لتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية.

والمعرض مفتوح للزوار والهواة المهتمين بهواية جمع الطوابع والعملات خللال ساعات العمل.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Fairmont Doha is elevating eco-conscious luxury by offering guests an Electric Car service featuring LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) cars. This initiative aligns with the hotel’s broader efforts to reduce its carbon footprint by minimizing emissions from transportation. LEVC cars, known for their energy efficiency and low environmental impact, help reduce air pollution and dependence on fossil fuels.
