Activating collection of water bottles distributed in big events like (Formula 1, Ooredoo Marathon, Padel Tournaments etc...) by introducing recycle bins, and collecting more than 2 million bottles every year and working with Doha Plastic for recycling the recycled quantity.

Chlorine is commonly used to disinfect drinking water due to its effectiveness in killing bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms. While chlorine treatment is essential for public health, it can have some environmental impacts. Here are the primary effects of chlorine-treated water on the environment:

1- Beach cleaning 

2- Guinness Record for the bigeest QATAR name constructed by Rayyan Recycled Bottles (managed by Seashore Recycling)

3- Planting Trees, more than 1000 trees planted around our factory (initiative by Ministry of Municipality)

Implementing Energy Saving Measures in production lines & industrial lighting, Total Energy Savings per year: 276,000 KwH

Rayyan Water is the first Qatari water bottling company introducing Recycled PET Bottle by using recycled bottles.

This seminar will present original research on the role of Green Credit Lines (GCLs) in supporting the Gulf Cooperation Council’s transition toward a low-carbon economy, with a special focus on Qatar. Drawing on the newly developed GCL Implementation Potential Index (GCLIPI) and GCL Potential Impact Indicator (GCLPII), the session will provide a comparative analysis of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, highlighting opportunities, challenges, and pathways to maximize the role of green finance.
