نظمت بلدية ام صلال ورشة توعوية وزراعية بمعهد الشرطة النسائية بهدف تعزيز الوعي بمبادرات الاستدامة في بلدية ام صلال ودورها  الفعال في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ضمن استراتيجية وزارة البلدية وفقا لخطة التنمية الوطنية الثالثة ضمن رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.

حيث شهدت الورشة التعريف بضوابط استخدام الاكياس البلاستيكية أحادية الاستعمال وأهمية الحد منها لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة وتم تعريفهن بالطرق الحديثة للزراعة بدون تربة والتي تساهم بشكل كبير في ترشيد استهلاك المياه 

  نظمت بلدية ام صلال ورشة توعوية بالتعاون مع إدارة النظافة العامة في مركز شباب برزان بمناسبة أسبوع قطر للاستدامة

يهدف الى توعية الشبب بأهمية إعادة التدوير باعتباره من السلوكيات البيئية الإيجابية التي تقلل من استهلاك الموارد الطبيعية وتعزز مفاهيم الاستدامة

من خلال الورشة تم عرض برنامج فرز النفايات الصلبة والمعايير والاشتراطات الخاصة بهم والتعريف بآلية الفرز وأنواع الحاويات المستخدمة والخاصة بإعادة التدوير.

ويأتي ذلك في اطار جهود بلدية ام صلال من خلال توعية الجيل الناشئ وتعزيز مفهوم الاستدامة بما يتماشى مع رؤية قطر 2030.

وتهدف لتعزيز الوعي بأهمية الاستدامة والتشجير في الحفاظ على البيئة وتعرفيهم بالطرق الحديثة للزراعة بدون تربة والتي تساهم في ترشيد استهلاك المياه ، وتعزيز مفاهيم الاستدامة بما يتماشى مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030
