في إطار التزام دولة قطر بأهداف التنمية المستدامة ورؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، تبرز جهود وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية كمكوّن أساسي في تعزيز الوعي البيئي من منظور إسلامي. فقد عملت الوزارة على إصدار عدد من الكتيبات والمطويات التوعوية التي تبيّن دور المسلم في الحفاظ على البيئة، مثل كتيب "من روائع حضارتنا" ومطوية "المحافظة على المكونات البيئية في الإسلام"، والتي تستند إلى مبادئ الشريعة الإسلامية في حماية الطبيعة والموارد.
