Show & Tell by Hirfa is a community event that showcases handcrafted products made by individuals with special needs under Hirfa – an initiative by Step by Step. The event highlights sustainability through the use of eco-friendly materials, upcycled products, and locally crafted items such as jute placemats, decoupage coasters, and resin art.

Hirfa – an initiative by Step by Step – empowers individuals with special needs through creative and sustainable vocational crafts. As part of the Qatar Sustainability Campaign, Hirfa will conduct two hands-on eco-friendly craft sessions:

Hosted in our workshop, this event showcases how discarded materials can be transformed into valuable resources, functional products, and inspiring works of art. Through the displays, live demonstrations, and insightful discussions, visitors will witness the power of sustainable thinking in action — where waste becomes opportunity and innovation drives a greener future.

Join us as we unveil the hidden potential in everyday materials, explore sustainable practices within our community, and discover how small changes can lead to a lasting positive impact for Qatar and beyond.

خلال أسبوع قطر للاستدامة وضمن مبادرة الوكرة خالية من النفايات الالكترونية ستقوم بلدية الوكرة بالتعاون مع شركتي ترست ات و سيشور بحملة لجمع النفايات الاكترونية بهدف خفض الانبعاثات الكربونية ولدعم مبادرة الوكرة على طريق الحياد الكربوني.

ستوضع حاويات لجمع النفايات الالكترونية في مبنى بلدية الوكرة من ١-٨ نوفمبر.

• Families are invited to visit local recycling centers and submit short videos or photos showing their contribution to sustainability.
• Selected submissions will be showcased during assembly.
