SC - The Sustainability Program for Qatar 2022
MDD is hosting a weeklong B2C sustainability themed activation in Barahat Msheireb. Key entities such as Shell, Seashore Group, Supreme Committee, Msheireb Properties, Beehive, Doha Debates, Qatar Foundation, Qatar Green Building Council & Hungarian Council will be participating. Activations and education for the public will include physical educational booths by key partners and sustainability talks and panel discussions and workshops.

On Friday October 22nd we are going to the beautiful beach at the Al Zubarah archeological site for an awesome beach cleanup. This event is kid and family friendly. تهدف مبادره استغلها بدلا من رميها للحد من التفايات بشكل عام ومحاوله تدوير القطع الصالحه من الاجهزه وتركيبها في اجهزه اخرى مصلا تدوير القطع الصالحه في اجهزه الكمبيوتر لاجهزه اخرى يعنل عليها موظفي الوزاره بدلا من شراء قطع جديده ومحاوله التخلص من النفايات بوضع حاويات خاصه لتدوير الورق والمعدن والبلاستيك وعقد اتفاقيات مع شركات مختصه لاخذ النفايات وتدويرها بطريقه نحافظ فيها على بيئه نظيفه لنا وللاجيال القادمه
My name is Lyuba and I have a social group of children and teenagers 7-13 year old who I teach art. We are willing to participate at exhibiting paintings on environment ( water, air, climate, flora and fauna in Qatar ) and also creating recycle artworks using plastic. We can do live painting and I can display my artworks (paintings) using the organic pigments on papersheets.
the al Daayen municipality employees during the sustainability week will be asked to dispose of their water plastic bottle in a special container that will present in every Department. At the end of the week all bottles will be gathered and recycled .

Presenter: Dr. Alex Amato is the Head of Sustainability at Qatar Green Building Council.
Dr. Amato has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked in both the private and public sectors in the UK, South East Asia, and the Middle East. Since 1992, his research has focused on the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to assess quantitatively the environmental impact of buildings, construction systems, and products.
