Sustainability is critical to the vision of Qatar International Golf Club and together with GEO (Golf Environmental Organization) sustainability features center around enhancing nature, conserving resources and supporting local communities.

QF was awarded ‘Best Renewable Energy Initiative’ for its use of solar panels, and ‘Best Sustainable Development’ for its environmentally friendly student housing. We wish to extend that by adding value to the initiative by ‘showcasing’ the various facilities that are maintained and operated by O&M with our commitment to ‘sustainability’ and take our initiatives beyond QF. A one day fun, competitive and educational event- hosted by Fame Basketball & Fitness Academy that shall involve basketball and fitness games and competitions - as well as free trails for interested new players. We shall also award the best 6 players with the most nutritious week that managed to fill out Fame's Nutrition booklet! In an attempt to familiarize students with recent developments taking place in Qatar within the realm of sustainable and smart cities, a field trip will be organized for students from Qatar University to visit Mesheireb as part of their "Urban Sustainability" class within the program of Policy, Planning, and Development within the International Affairs Department.

Sherborne Qatar are partnering with Ezdan Mall Management and Carillion Qatar LLC to educate pupils and create awareness within the community on sustainability issues. Various educational trips tackling these issues have been arranged throughout the week with some keynote speakers presenting to pupils during assemblies on the global issues touching on Qatar's 2030 vision. The week will finish in a flurry with Green Day celebrations taking place on the 17th November.

Organizing a healthy food corner that will offer a wide range of choices to encourage the visitors to make a healthier choice.

Health and Life will be in the collage of business and economics to provide a bit of information on sustainable health at the event. This is obviously a byproduct of what they offer on a monthly basis with their magazine. They will be at the event to promote a healthier lifestyle to further inspire a healthier, more sustainable future.
