ABS Qatar Office is proud to participate in Qatar Sustainability Week for the second consecutive year. Building on last year’s initiatives, we remain committed to making sustainability an active part of our workplace culture and daily operations.

Throughout the week, our team will reinforce practical actions that reduce our environmental footprint, including responsible use of energy and air-conditioning, switching off lights during lunch breaks, minimizing paper consumption through double-sided printing and using eco-friendly cleaning products where practical.

This action highlights the ongoing operation of solar panel systems at the Lusail International Circuit, which consistently supply a portion of our facility’s energy needs. As an established fixture of our venue infrastructure, this renewable energy usage provides a continuous reduction in carbon emissions and forms the baseline for our long-term climate action goals.

Youth Fest 2026 is Teen Hub by Qatar Museums’ flagship annual youth festival in collaboration with Earthna, taking place from 5–7 November 2026 as part of Qatar Sustainability Week. The three-day, youth-led festival brings together creativity, sustainability, innovation, wellbeing, entrepreneurship and culture, giving young people a platform to create, lead, experiment and contribute to positive social and environmental change. 

Plants received from Ministry of Municipality - public parks dept will be distributed to participants of the QBWA connect event.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through the Studio 5 initiative and in collaboration with the National Museum of Qatar, is organizing the "Coding Sea Turtle" workshop for children aged 7 to 10. During the workshop, students will gain skills in coding, robotics, and sustainability.

Doha Municipality participated in the Zero Environmental Harm Award Program by Qatar's Rail with the beautification and greening of the Rail stations.
