This event provides a short introduction to birding and the common birds of Qatar, followed by a "Birding Treasure Hunt" through Al Bidda Park.

To celebrate Qatar sustainability week, Torba Store will be holding a screening of the documentary 'The Man Who Planted Trees' by Jean Giono.
Giono's purpose in telling the story “was to make people love the tree, or more precisely, to make them love planting trees.”
This documentary has inspired reforestation efforts worldwide.

Children learn best when doing and art offers them great opportunity to create something with their own hands. For this reason we will be practicing Decoupage art to introduce larger themes such as sustainability in a more approachable manner. We will be using old cans, jars , scraps of colourful papers and acrylic paints to create a unique beautiful decorative art. Craft idea for decoupage is not only great for gifting, but this upcycling project is also easy enough for little helping hands to join in!
For Qatar Sustainability Week, we are pleased to be offering a special Culture Pass for a visit to Heenat Salma. From October 8th to the 13th, we‘ve curated an afternoon full of exciting and educational activities for the whole family.
Heenat Salma is an Eco-Farm and Camp, located in Shahaniya, north-west of Doha.
We are a multidisciplinary project dedicated to holistic methods in agriculture, architecture, and community development.
