المشاركة بفيديو توعوي للاطفال يحافظ على الاستدامه وايضا المشاركه بعرض مجموعه من الاعمال للاطفال والمعلمات تدعم اعاده التدوير والاستدامه ومشهد تمثيلي بسيط عن الاستدامه

At Doha College this year we will be running a series of events to celebrate Qatar Sustainability Week 2024. 

As a whole college we will be having a 'Say no to single use plastic week.' 

In the Secondary school we will be hosting a house recycling challenge where plastic recycling boxes will be weighed at the end of the week and the house with the largest weight will be successful. 

In the Primary school there will be a school poster competition to create a poster that spreads the message of 'no single use plastic' in Doha College and Qatar. 

Students at QAD will be working on their classroom Eco Codes and sharing them with the greater QAD Community. 

Activists in Action will be documenting their Green Flag journey to share with and inspire students throughout the school, as they prepare to present to a panel and seek to earn the school's second Eco Schools Green Flag.

نقوم بتجميع بقايا الاطعمه العضوية ورميها في حاويات اعادة التدوير لتحويلها إلى سماد عضوي نستخدمه في زراعه النباتات المدرسية 

نضيف في هذا الحاويات كمية من البكتيريا التي تساعد على تحلل بقايا الطعام وتحويله الى سماد على شكل سائل…

نقوم بتجميع السائل العضوي وتخفيفه بالماء ثم نسقي به الزرع الموجود في المدرسة..

As part of our commitment to sustainability, both branches of our school, Al Mansoura and Al Gharrafa, will be engaging in various activities to promote eco-friendly practices.

For saving energy, teachers will turn off classroom lights for the last 30 minutes of the school day, except in essential areas like corridors and main spaces. This simple act will raise awareness of energy-saving habits among students and staff.

Ms Reena Naser from SUSTAINIAL LLC will be leading a workshop with our Grade 5 visual art students to raise awareness about the use of plastic bags and the danger they pose to our environment. Students will be creating their very own reusable shopping bags with unique designs to kick off our campaign for reducing plastic bag use in Qatar. 

تَتَشرفُ مَدْرَسَةُ مَوْزَة بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِاسْتِضَافَةٍ خَاصَّةٍ لِأُسْبُوعِ قَطَر لِلِاسْتِدَامَةِ 2024، الَّذِي نَظِّمُهُ مركز "إرْثٍنا" التَّابِعَ لِمؤْسسةِ قَطَرُ. يُعَدُّ هَذَا الْأُسْبُوعَ جُزْءًا مِنْ الْجُهُودِ الْمَبْذُولَة لِتَعْزِيزِ الْوَعْي البِيئِيّ وَدَعْم رُؤْيَة قَطَّرَ فِي تَحْقِيقِ التَّنْمِيَةِ الْمُسْتَدَامَةِ.

• تشجيع الطلاب على الابداع و الابتكار في طرح الافكار و في تطور  البناء الحديث المستدام و الذي يهدف الى تحقيق توازن بين احتياجات الانسان وحماية البيئة 
• تشمل الفعالية عرض فيديو / مسابقات و أنشطة تعليمية /توزيع الهدايا

Parental Engagement in Sustainability Efforts

Reducing Carbon Footprint: Metro Travel: Parents are encouraged to use the Metro for family trips to cut down on fuel consumption and lower their carbon footprint. This helps instill eco-friendly habits in children and raises their awareness about environmental issues.
