2. Trash 2 Treasure – Senior Eco Leaders Workshop (Ages 13–18): In collaboration with Green Island

Senior Eco Leaders Workshop (Ages 13–18) – 8th November 2025

The three-hour session will engage participants through activities such as eco-art, upcycling projects, waste-sorting arena games, recycled seed cards, and pledge circles, all hosted at Green Island, Qatar Foundation. The workshops aim to shift mindsets—from seeing waste as useless to recognizing it as a valuable resource for innovation and sustainable living—while encouraging sustainable habits and family participation.

Kitchen Garden

We have already started the campaign named “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (one tree in mother’s name) initiated by CBSE Board.

We plan to carry forward it and grow vegetables in the kitchen garden.

Seeds of Change: Nurturing Environmental Awareness at Juthoor Early Education Center

Little Green Hands – Kids Gardening Project for Learning Sustainability

At the German International School Doha, our kindergarten children and School Garden Club come together to grow more than just plants – they grow curiosity, care, and a love for nature. The children plant seeds and water their vegetable beds every day while observing how their food grows naturally. Through this hands-on experience, they learn about the cycles of nature, take responsibility for the environment, and discover the joy of sustainable living.

Refuse, Reduce, Reimagine: Inspiring change at ISL Qatar

International School of London (ISL) Qatar is proud to participate in Qatar Sustainability Week with a whole-school initiative focused on reducing waste and lowering carbon footprints. In support of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), all community members will be invited to embrace project-based learning initiatives.

Throughout the week, sustainability will be embedded across the school community:

Our School, Our Planet, Our Responsibility

As part of our contribution to Qatar Sustainability Week 2025, our school community will focus on two student-led actions that give students an active role in protecting the planet:

Stay Digital – Both students and colleagues will be encouraged to use digital platforms for learning and communication instead of relying on printed paper. By doing so, they will see how everyday choices, like reading online or sharing work digitally, could help reduce waste and save valuable resources.
