As part of its commitment to sustainability, Raffles Doha is elevating eco-conscious luxury by offering guests an Electric Car service featuring LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) cars. This initiative aligns with the hotel’s broader efforts to reduce its carbon footprint by minimizing emissions from transportation. LEVC cars, known for their energy efficiency and low environmental impact, help reduce air pollution and dependence on fossil fuels.

Raffles Doha is committed to providing staff training with Diversey to ensure safe and efficient way of using chemicals used in Laundry. Diversey training educates users on the correct use of chemicals, personal protective equipment, and best practices to reduce exposure. By implementing advanced formulations and packaging, Diversey aims to reduce the environmental impact of their products, ensuring a safer, more sustainable approach to hygiene and cleaning.

In alignment with Qatar Sustainability Week's goals, Banyan Tree Doha has introduced a Vegetarian Lunch initiative every Tuesday at our staff restaurant. This program aims to promote sustainability and eco-friendly practices while highlighting the importance of healthy eating for the environment.

City Centre Rotana planning to conduct No Bin Day in Colleagues Cafeteria to reduce the food waste and give awareness about the Sustainability practices and commitments. During the meals there will be signages and volunteers to monitor and explain the importance of this practice . This practice will be continued monthly once. 

Riviera Rayhaan is a part of Rotana Earth, which is a sustainability initiative designed to support the conservation of the earth’s resources.

It includes programs that allow guests to choose the frequency of changing bed sheets and towels to save water, reduce chemical use, and lower energy consumption. 

Fairmont Doha is committed to implementing Food Waste Management Programs using advanced AI technologies aimed at monitoring and reducing waste across the hotel and its restaurants, while prioritizing environmental preservation and community management. 

Fairmont Doha is committed to regularly measuring and monitoring energy consumption and carbon footprint, reducing them through initiatives such as lighting control systems, energy-efficient HVAC, and conscious individual actions.

Celebrate birthdays with smaller cakes and the gift of a plant — because growth lasts longer than dessert.

We have taken an initiative of cutting down the cake size and gifting a plant to our staff on their Birthdays and the plant will named after them.

In an effort to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainability, the team cafeteria has replaced bottled water with a no-bottle water dispenser. This new system encourages the use of reusable bottles or cups, allowing Team Member's at Hilton Doha to easily access clean, filtered water while minimizing environmental impact. It's a simple yet effective way for us to contribute to a greener workplace.
