• Public Transport Access: DECC’s central location and direct connection to the Doha Metro encourage low- carbon visitor travel.
• Future Initiatives: Plans to explore the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging points to support sustainable travel.

• Single-Use Plastics Reduction: Our catering partners aim to minimize the use of single-use plastics.
• Local Sourcing: Preference is given to locally sourced and seasonal products where possible.

• Digital Exhibitor Materials: Exhibitor manuals, order forms, and floorplans are provided digitally to minimize printing.
• E-Ticketing & Online Registration: Organizers are encouraged to adopt paperless registration processes for both visitors and exhibitors.

• Segregated Waste Streams: Recycling bins for plastic, paper, and general waste are provided throughout the venue.
• Responsible Disposal: Waste generated during build-ups and breakdowns is sorted and sent to approved recycling facilities.

• Shell Scheme & Modular Systems: Promoted through our partners for their reusability across multiple events.
• Reuse of Materials: Wooden flooring platforms and wall panels are reused wherever applicable.
• Recycled Wood: Provided by our partners when new materials are required.

Energy Efficiency & Resource Optimization

Transform your workplace into a greener, healthier, and more inspiring environment by starting a company garden. This initiative allows employees to design and build a small garden or even a larger community-style space on-site, where they can grow herbs, vegetables, and ornamental plants together. Beyond its environmental benefits, the garden fosters teamwork, well-being, and a sense of shared responsibility, while offering a tangible way to contribute to sustainability goals.

We will initiate a clothes donation program for staff, guests or outside visitors to bring their clothes and at the end of the Sustainability week we will arrange a pick up form one of the Government entities related to donations, to collect the boxes

We encourage all to contribute clothes, shoes, toys, and books that were in good condition but no longer needed.

A noble and fun initiative that would touch the lives of many.
