As a strategic partner of Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW) 2025— led by the Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future under Qatar Foundation, Qatar Museums proudly contributes to this national movement aimed at raising awareness, inspiring action, and embedding sustainable practices across all sectors of society.

SSG Environmental is a specialised environmental services company committed to restoring and protecting Qatar’s natural resources. Our core expertise lies in soil and groundwater remediation and sustainable waste management for industrial and petroleum facilities.

Through advanced remediation technologies and environmentally responsible practices, SSG supports Qatar’s National Environment and Climate Change Strategy by helping clients reduce carbon emissions, minimise their ecological footprint, and comply with the latest environmental regulations.

تهدف مبادرة "مدرستنا الخضراء الذكية" إلى تحويل المدرسة إلى نموذج بيئي مستدام وذكي من خلال دمج التكنولوجيا والذكاء الاصطناعي في الأنشطة البيئية.
تعمل طالبات الصف العاشر من تخصص فني مختبرات على تطوير مشاريع علمية وتوعوية تعزز السلوك البيئي المسؤول داخل المدرسة.

أهم المشاريع المشاركة:

An office-wide initiative to promote responsible waste management through dedicated segregation bins for paper, plastic, aluminum, and general waste. The program includes awareness sessions, educational posters, and a month-long friendly inter-office “eco-battle” competition to encourage staff to adopt proper recycling habits and reduce overall waste generation.

Atmospheric Water Machines:
Installing innovative machines that generate clean drinking water from the air, minimizing plastic consumption and supporting resource sustainability.

• Upgraded and improved the landscape from the tram station to the mosque, enhancing the outdoor environment and promoting visual comfort for pedestrians.
• Introduced topiary features at the roundabout near QF Al Mujadilah, significantly improving site aesthetics and reinforcing the location’s visual identity.
• Provided resources and guidance to promote agricultural education and sustainability practices among students at the QA Musheireb Greenhouse.

Creating a landscaped pedestrian walkway from Oxygen Park Station to Education City Mosque to encourage walking, reduce car use, and promote healthier lifestyles.
 

During the last 10 days of Ramadan, over 18,000 worshippers attended daily prayers—many arriving by Tram and walking. The positive feedback highlights the value of accessible routes that support both community movement and spiritual gatherings.

Qatar Foundation's City operations are utilizing the QKONS platform for in smart city operations, providing technical expertise and support across various initiatives. The platform includes integrating innovative technologies, optimizing operational workflows, and ensuring alignment with sustainability goals. By integrating user-friendly features with motivational incentives, QKONS simplifies sustainable living, making it accessible and rewarding for everyone.
