Al Zubarah UNESCO World Heritage Site Beach Cleanup

Hello everyone,

On Friday October 22nd we are going to the beautiful beach at the Al Zubarah archeological site for an awesome beach cleanup. This event is kid and family friendly. For additional details and to register contact @deapqatar on their social media pages or by email at deapqatar@gmail.com . Due to covid registration is mandatory. We have limited spaces available.

Event Agenda:

-3:30pm Arrive to the meeting point.

-3:45-4:45pm Cleanup Activities.

-4:45-5:30 pm Social time, enjoy a clean beach.

Healthy Lifestyle in Naufar

Naufar is planning an initiative to increase the wellbeing of staff through the use of stairs instead of elevators and encouraging them to drink an adequate amount of water each day. The initiative will include words of encouragement being displayed on the stairs and information displayed on hydration levels.

Recycle and Win Contest

An internal contest for the hotel employees will be taking place during the QSW 2021 period. The participants would be required to collect scrap material from the hotel - paper, food waste, cartons, discarded linen etc and create a work of art from the same.

This would then be judged by the hotel's General Manager in order to decide on the best submission and the employee would receive a special prize for the same.

This is being organized by the hotel's HR department to educate the employees on creating wealth out of waste.

Staff Cafeteria Laws

Throughout the course of the week we will be displaying notices in our staff cafeteria showcasing messages about minimizing food wastage and how they should only take so much food on their plate as they can eat.

We will also ban the use of disposable cups and crockery for the week in the premises so that we avoid wastage generation.
