سنقوم خلال أسبوع قطر للاستدامة بعدد من الفعاليات الداخلية : * جمع النفايات البلاستيكية ( قورارير الماء ) و تسليمها لجمعية الميرة من خلال آلات إعادة التدوير الموجودة في فروع الميرة * جمع النفايات الورقية الناتجة من المدرسة وتسليمها لمصنع النخبة لإعادة تدوير الورق * توعية أولياء الامور من خلال توزيع المنشورات وتعريفهم بالطرق التي يمكن اتباعها لتساهم في تنمية الاستدامة * تقديم إذاعة صباحية عن مفهوم الاستدامة بشكل مبسط لطلاب المدرسة من خلال عرض مسرحي يقدمه الطلبة الموهوبين

As part of Qatar Sustainability Week, we are excited to host a dedicated workshop aimed at exploring and raising awareness about the principles of recycling, reusing, and repurposing fashion clothing and accessories.

Throughout Qatar Sustainability Week, we will actively promote and encourage our employees to carpool to work as a meaningful step towards reducing the environmental footprint associated with their daily commutes.

To create awareness in our school about biodiversity conservation, consumerism, non-biodegradable waste, and the carbon footprint, we will be arranging various activities in our school for QSW 2023.

لتحقيق بعض اهداف التنمية المستدامة قمت بانشاء نادي بيئي في المدرسة واستكملته بجمعية من اهدفها انشطة لتوعية الاطفال وارشادهم حول تطبيق هذه الاهدف وخاصة البيئية مثل فرز النفايات واعادة استعمالها وارشادهم الى التقليل من استعمال الموارد وأهمية المياه وغيرها )

We would like to participate in Qatar Sustainability Week by actively posting content related to the event on social media. For example, sharing tips from the Swedish Embassy on how to be sustainable.

Our approach is holistic, community-driven, and sustainable. We work closely with local communities to identify their needs and develop programs that address those needs in a way that is both environmentally friendly and economically viable. We believe that this approach leads to long-lasting impact and a more prosperous future for all. We prioritize transparency, accountability, and collaboration. We are committed to being transparent about our activities and impact, and we work closely with donors, international development partners, and governments to achieve our goals.

From the month of October and all the way through this academic year, we will be working with children and class leaders on learning how to care for plants they are growing from seeds, respecting pollinators such as bees, how to use nature in the classrooms, participating in composting and developing a sense of responsibility towards helping Mother Nature.

At The Royal Riviera Hotel, we prioritize sustainability by utilizing recyclable printing paper and actively reducing our overall print volume. As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, we're embarking on a special initiative during Sustainability Week: a designated "paperless day." This exercise will help us transition towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly practice.

To raise awareness and promote a sustainable environment, as well as engage both our guests and staff, we are considering a special one-hour event at the hotel. During this event, we will temporarily turn off the electricity throughout the entire premises. This will allow us to rely on the warm glow of candles for illumination.

The timing for this event, whether in the morning or evening, will be decided and announced in advance.
