Hydroponic farming project demo at the greenhouse.  The session is to welcome people and explain about the technology and background of hydroponic farming which will take place in Green Island

Open to public. No registrations Required.

• Waste Segregation Awareness – Proper segregation of general, recyclable, hazardous, and construction waste.
• 3R Campaign – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – Encourage reduction of material consumption and reuse of suitable construction materials.
• Good Housekeeping Campaign – Maintain clean work areas and prevent waste or materials from being left on the ground.
• Plastic Reduction Initiative – Minimize single-use plastics and promote reusable drinking bottles.

تنظم اللجنة الشبابية بالنادي العربي الرياضي معسكرًا بعنوان رواد الاستدامة .. نصنع الأثر ونحمي المستقبل " يتضمن ورشة عمل عن الاستدامة بالتعاون مع وزارة البيئة كما يتضمن مسابقات ثقافية توعوية عن الاستدامة يبداء المعسكر في تمام الساعة 9:00 صباحًا وحتى الساعة 4:00 مساء 

Our desert cleanups are community-led initiatives focused on keeping Qatar’s natural landscapes clean and protecting the environment. We bring together students and volunteers to collect litter and waste from deserts and beaches across Qatar. So far, our cleanups have involved over 500 volunteers and collected more than 1,000 kg of waste. These events also raise awareness about responsible waste disposal and the importance of protecting our local environment. Through these efforts, we aim to inspire students to take action and make a lasting positive impact in their community.

 :قامت الوزارة بالعديد من المبادرات المتعلقة بالاستدامة والتي تم تطبيقها من خلال المساجد وهي

• ترشيد استهلاك الطاقة
• معالجة مياه الوضوء وإعادة استخدامها في ري المسطحات الخضراء المحيطة بالمساجد، وكذلك في صناديق الطرد بدورات المياه
• تشجير المساجد بالنباتات المحلية وتقنيات ري حديثة
• تطوير اشتراطات بناء صارمة لضمان تحقيق أعلى معايير الاستدامة في تصميم وإنشاء وصيانة

We will run a waste management awareness workshop for hotel employees to highlight the importance of reducing waste and recycling. 

ينظم مركز شباب الذخيرة، بالتعاون مع اللجنة الشبابية بنادي الخور الرياضي، وبالشراكة مع بلدية الخور والذخيرة، فعالية بيئية مجتمعية لتشجير وزراعة النباتات بحديقة الخور العامة، بمشاركة منتسبي مركز شباب الذخيرة ومنتسبي اللجنة الشبابية بنادي الخور الرياضي، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 3 نوفمبر 2026، من الساعة الرابعة عصراً حتى السادسة مساءً.
