A booth will allow students to exchange items such as books, stationery, or accessories, supporting a circular economy and reducing waste.
A fun, interactive quiz session focusing on sustainability concepts and environmental awareness.
“Before & After” Photo Challenge – Social Media Contest
Students will transform a space—on campus, at home, or within their community—into a greener or more sustainable area. They will post before-and-after photos using #UDSTsustainabilityWeek and tag @UDSTLife. Winners will receive cash prizes.

Capacity building Workshop for the employees on sustainability
As part of its continued commitment to sustainability and community engagement, Northwestern Qatar will host a desert cleanup near the Singing Sand Dunes on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Organized by the NU-Q Wellbeing and Community Committee, the event will bring together faculty, staff, students, and their families for an afternoon dedicated to environmental stewardship and collective action.
The initiative supports Northwestern Qatar’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within and beyond the campus community.
