Awareness Activities

NAWIC Members want to raise awareness on the importance of green spaces in Doha to offset the carbon footprint of road traffic and to encourage Women in Construction to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

We have many great energy conserving measures implemented in our property . We are taking this opportunity of Qatar sustainability week and displaying thus initiatives in our cafeteria for our colleagues to aware of.

In participation in this year's Qatar Sustainability Week 2022, Regus D-Ring Business Centre with Hamad Blood Donor Centre organized a one-day blood donation drive to raise awareness of the health benefits of bloodletting and its importance in helping initiate a healthy and sustainable community.   

If you are interested in being a blood donor, please read the donor eligibility below:  

We want to inspire and enable as many people as possible to live more sustainably and to make it easy and affordable. We’re also doing our part by transforming the way we work to become circular and climate positive and to have a positive social impact wherever we are in the world.

Our aim is to use more renewable and recycled materials, eliminate waste in our operations and change the way we design products and the services we offer to prolong the life of products and see them as resources for the future.

Your task is to locate the Rotor Mobility showroom and: 

1. Take a random pic outside and inside our store;

2. Locate the bike mural inside store and take a picture;

3. Take a picture of the crescent junction poster in front of the store

1- إعادة تدوير المواد البلاستيكية

أ - ( تصميم نافورية مياة ذاتية الدفع المائي المتجدد ) : تصميم مشروع تدوير المواد البلاستيكية من زجاجات وأواني وزهور بلاستيك وأحجار برية وبحرية من البيئة القطرية في عمل نافورة مياه مستدامة التشغيل بأقل التكاليف.

ب- إعادة تدوير المواد الورقية بالمدرسة : تصميم صناديق بلاستيكية داخل المدرسة للتخلص من الأوراق لإعادة تدويرها .

2- توفير المياه :

This event is part of our commitment to creating awareness towards a more sustainable living, all with the use of exclusively recycled materials. A gardening event repurposing football balls into a pot or planter and growing plants in it, organized for the lady members of our community garden.

Healthy lifestyle messages

1.    Invest in your health by following healthy lifestyle

2.    Mind your food portion sizes.

3.    Choose whole-grain foods.

4.    Aim for a variety of colors (fruits and vegetables) on your plate.

5.    Eat your fruits instead of drinking them.

6.    Eat your greens first.
