Islamic Environmental Values:

Earthna and in Collaboration with College of Public Policy in Hamad Bin Khalifa University- Dr. Logan John Robert Cochra, have designed lesson plans for school students from age 6-17 years old to enhance their environmental awareness and ecological behavior. The lesson plans aim to foster appreciation of the environmnet and ecourage students to rethink nature as creation, not merely as a resource to delpete. The lessons embrace teachings from The Holy Quran and the Prophet’s Sunnah to highlight humanity’s responsibility as Khalifah (stewards) of the Earth.

Focusing on three Islamic values: Trust, Moderation and Kindness, students learn to value and protect nature while drawing inspiration from creation to shape their habits and guide development models. This approach empowers young learners to act in alignment with their faith to fulfill their roles as responsible servants of Allah, learning from the rich heritage that have shaped the Islamic history.
