Insurance and Risk Finance Facility, UNDP
Jan Kellett leads UNDP’s work across insurance and risk finance including the creation of the Insurance and Risk Finance Facility. He co-chairs the IDF’s operational committee, is UNDP’s senior representative to the InsuResilience Global Partnership, and co-created the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance. Jan led development work in over fifteen countries, was Programme Leader at Development Initiatives, a Senior Research Fellow at ODI, and led UNDP’s Climate, Disaster and Energy external engagement. Before joining UNDP, he worked for HSBC in business lending, insurance and development. He has an undergraduate in film and television and a master’s in political science.
