CAMPAIGN THEME: UNMASK THE COPQ. PROTECT BUSINESS VALUE. SUSTAIN THE FUTURE.
PLATFORM: Online QHSE Symposium via Microsoft Teams https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/38065066-4f1e-4896-a581-9454946c5dda@68a32481-f04f-4be7-80e2-2cee7c132a49
TARGET AUDIENCE: Exclusively for Manateq investors and service providers operating across Logistics Parks, Mesaieed Industrial Zone, Small Medium Industries, and Open Yards, with invited guests from selected ministries and government organizations.
CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION:
Manateq’s operations extend beyond infrastructure development to the effective management of zone facilities, utilities, common areas, maintenance activities, and service-provider performance across its Industrial and Logistics Zones. These interconnected activities directly influence infrastructure reliability, tenant operations, logistics efficiency, resource consumption, and environmental performance. Inefficiencies, recurring failures, rework, and service disruptions can generate hidden costs, waste valuable resources, and undermine the competitiveness and sustainability of Manateq’s zones.
In support of Sustainability Week, Manateq will conduct an online QHSE symposium titled “UNMASK THE COPQ. PROTECT BUSINESS VALUE. SUSTAIN THE FUTURE.” to raise awareness of the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and its financial, operational, and environmental consequences. The symposium will demonstrate how integrating COPQ prevention into operational and QHSE practices can minimize avoidable losses, optimize resource utilization, protect infrastructure and investment value, and strengthen sustainable zone management.
By integrating Manateq’s three (03) Integrated Management System (IMS) pillars—Integrated Process, Integrated Risks, and Integrated Audits—with the sustainability pillars of People, Planet, and Profit, the symposium will promote a proactive culture of prevention, accountability, and continual improvement. Through practical examples relevant to industrial and logistics operations, participants will explore how preventing failures at source can protect people, reduce waste and environmental impacts, improve operational efficiency, and sustain long-term business value.
Ultimately, the symposium reinforces that preventing poor quality is not merely a cost-control measure; it is a strategic investment in operational excellence, environmental responsibility, and sustainable economic growth, supporting Manateq’s contribution to Qatar National Vision 2030.
OBJECTIVES:
- Raise Awareness: Highlight the relationship between COPQ, resource efficiency, environmental responsibility, and sustainable business performance.
- Integrate IMS and Sustainability: Demonstrate how Manateq’s three IMS pillars support the People, Planet, and Profit dimensions of sustainability.
- Prevent Failures and Waste: Promote process optimization, defect prevention, efficient resource utilization, and continual improvement across industrial and logistics operations.
- Identify Hidden Losses: Encourage participants to recognize recurring failures, investigate root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Improve Operational Reliability: Promote better management of facilities, utilities, maintenance activities, infrastructure assets, and service-provider performance.
- Protect Business Value: Strengthen accountability and proactive risk management to reduce avoidable expenditure, safeguard investments, and improve service quality.
- Advance Sustainable Zone Management: Minimize resource wastage and environmental impacts while strengthening the resilience, efficiency, and competitiveness of Manateq’s zones.
