Roots of Hope

Kenan, Karim, Essa, and Khalid, Members of the QAK Eco Club are transforming the open area between Building F clusters—where Grades 6 to 8 spend their breaks—into a vibrant, edible garden. The space will feature fast-growing herbs and edible plants cultivated for use by the school cafeteria, promoting a cycle of local production and responsible consumption. This initiative combines functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics while raising awareness of green practices within the school community. Students are directly involved in planning, planting, and maintaining the garden, demonstrating how small-scale projects can create meaningful environmental impact.
