Doha Cables
- Doha Cables is steadfast in its commitment to sustainable practices within the cable manufacturing industry. Actively recycling and reusing PVC material used for insulation, bedding, or sheathing in cables.
- Doha Cables engages in the recycling and reutilisation of lead material. Recycled lead is employed in manufacturing Medium Voltage and High Voltage Cables.
- Doha Cables launched lead-free cables in 2022, Enviguard65, which substitutes lead components in standard low- and medium-voltage cables demonstrating its dedication to minimising lead usage and furthering efforts to protect the environment.
- Doha Cables has reduced its diesel use in 2023 by 16% compared to 2022, as well as decreased electricity consumption to 602 kilowatt-hours per ton, compared to 677 kilowatt-hours per ton in 2022.
