Pathways to Sustainability – Social Data Analytics Role in Placemaking

Earthna's team of interns from Georgetown University in Qatar is running a panel with the Amaken establishing chapter for Doha during QSW 2022. These sessions intend to promote cross-sector collaboration between universities, public and private sectors to capture various sector operational challenges, raise awareness, and explore pathways and means of creating sustainable cities. This is most relevant in hot, arid climates, specifically Qatar, by using data as the basis for the decisions being made. The findings and recommendations from the discussions will guide Earthna and partners to assess, consolidate and formulate policy papers and insights to drive policy changes toward creating sustainable cities with a liveable environment that promotes well-being.
