Modern Central Laundry Visit & Textile Donation

As part of our sustainability program for Qatar Sustainability Week, a group of our employees from InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa will visit Modern Central Laundry (MCL), where we will take a guided tour of their facility and learn how they operate and how they give used linen a second life by transforming it into new, usable items. 

In support of MCL’s ReThread initiative, we will donate around 12 large boxes of linen from our hotel, approximately 300 kg of textiles that will be repurposed instead of going to waste. Through this initiative, we aim to promote a circular approach to textiles and inspire our team to think creatively about reducing waste.
