Little Green Heroes

As part of the 11th Qatar Sustainability Week, Gheras International School will engage students in a series of interactive and educational activities focused on the school’s eco-themes of waste and litter, wellbeing, and wellness. The activities will be conducted indoors during regular class hours and will involve students from Grades 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B. The activities are designed to help young learners develop environmental awareness through fun, hands-on experiences. Students will participate in the Waste Sorting Activity, Litter Hunt, and Sorting Traffic Relay, which will encourage them to recognize different types of waste and practice proper waste segregation. The Pledge (Hand-Printing Activity) will provide students with an opportunity to make a personal commitment to adopting environmentally responsible habits and reducing their carbon footprint. Through these activities, Gheras International School aims to promote environmental responsibility, teamwork, healthy habits, and sustainable practices, while encouraging students to become active contributors to a cleaner and healthier community.
