We will be organizing a special week where we focus on sustainable development. For the purpose the Engineering department has started energy saving program. Below are the accomplishments & highlights of CCRD energy saving program.
•Replacement of the Halogen Bulbs to LED for all our Guest & Service elevators. Saving 1.kw/h x 24 = 42 KW unit /day from Guest Elevators & 2.35 x 24 = 56 KW/day from Service Lifts Lighting Power. (10 guest Elevators with 6 lights in each, 35 Watt halogen bulb were used before and only 6 watt LEDs are on use now). (9 Service Lifts with 9 bulbs in each, 35 /50 watt halogen Bulbs were used before and only 6 watt LED bulbs are on use)
•Replacement of Halogen Bulbs to LED for Public Toilet Lights and saving 52.8 Kw power / day
•Ballroom and pre-Function Chandelier Bulbs are replaced to LED Bulbs, saving 210 Kw / day
