In alignment with IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Journey to Tomorrow commitment and Qatar’s National Vision 2030, InterContinental Doha The City took part in a series of environmental initiatives throughout September 2025 to drive positive change toward a greener future.

As part of IHG’s Giving for Good Month, colleagues from IHG Hotels in Qatar partnered with Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future for a meaningful visit to Qatar’s Mangrove Forest, engaging in hands-on conservation efforts such as mangrove cleaning and seed planting, protecting one of the country’s most vital ecosystems.

In parallel, the hotel organized a Tree Planting Campaign at its staff accommodation, where colleagues joined together to plant and nurture trees, reinforcing a shared responsibility to care for our environment and community spaces.

Through these initiatives, InterContinental Doha The City continues to champion sustainability and community impact under IHG’s global purpose of True Hospitality for Good, caring for our people, our communities, and our planet.
