Fix It Forward

Fix It Forward is a hands-on sustainability activity being held as part of the Youth Festival held at Teen Hub. The workshop encourages young people to think differently about the items they use every day and learn simple ways to repair, reuse, and extend their life instead of throwing them away.
Participants can explore three interactive stations: Sew & Patch, Tech Fix, and Object Revival. Through these activities, they will learn practical repair skills and discover how small actions can help reduce waste and support a more sustainable lifestyle.
Whether it's fixing a torn item, giving an old gadget a new purpose, or creatively restoring an everyday object, participants will get the chance to work on real items and take home new skills they can use in daily life.
At the end of the session, each participant will receive a “Skill Unlocked” card to recognize the skill they have learned. The goal is to make sustainability practical, creative, and fun while encouraging young people to become more conscious consumers and active contributors to a greener community.
