Doha Festival City's commitment to operational excellence in implementation of the smart environmental efforts through the cutting-edge energy-efficient technologies, strategically conserving resources, we aim to minimize the environmental impacts throughout mall operations. This sustainable attraction demonstrates a strong dedication to sustainability through the following key initiatives:

• Lighting Control System: Our updated lighting control system improves efficiency and responsiveness. Enhancements include a revised lighting schedule, photocell integration, fixture maintenance, and dynamic adjustments based on mall needs. This reconfiguration reduces workforce utilization and results in significant energy savings.
• Efficient Lighting: We have integrated LED lighting solutions throughout the premises, which reduces energy consumption and contributes positively to overall sustainability.
• Smart HVAC Systems: We have invested in advanced technologies, including an Integrated Building Management System (IBMS), which adapts to real-time scheduling and optimization. This system has decreased the frequency of running chillers at the Energy Center, thereby reducing the mall's environmental footprint and operational costs.

Through these smart systems we were able to focus on reducing dependency on natural resources, lowering carbon emissions, and improving cost management efficiency. This also helped us to achieve a 25% reduction in energy consumption and earned a GSAS Design & Build 3-star certification.
