Electronic waste recycling
MICROSOFT Qstp llc
We will establish a company-wide program to collect electronic waste for recycling, making it easy for employees to dispose of old devices responsibly. Designated collection points will be available for items such as laptops, phones, chargers, batteries, cables, monitors, and other outdated equipment so they can be gathered safely instead of being thrown away with regular trash.
All collected electronics will be handled through certified recycling partners that can properly sort, dismantle, and recover valuable materials. Before recycling, devices will be securely wiped or destroyed to protect sensitive company and customer information. This process will help ensure that reusable components are recovered and hazardous materials are managed in an environmentally responsible way.
By encouraging employees to turn in unused or broken electronics, Microsoft can reduce landfill waste, conserve natural resources, and support a more sustainable workplace. This initiative will also raise awareness about responsible disposal practices and help build a culture of environmental stewardship across the organization.
