Modern Central Laundry’s Participation in Earthna’s Mangrove Restoration Project
As part of our continued commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, Modern Central Laundry (MCL) is proud to participate in Earthna’s Mangrove Restoration Project, an initiative under the Qatar Sustainability Week 2025.
The project, organized by Earthna – Center for a Sustainable Future, aims to restore and protect Qatar’s vital mangrove ecosystems — one of the country’s most important natural habitats. Mangroves play a crucial role in supporting biodiversity, reducing coastal erosion, and capturing carbon, making them a cornerstone in the fight against climate change.
Representing MCL, a team from various departments joined the restoration activity held near the Zulal area, actively participating in the planting of mangrove seedlings and learning about the ecological significance of coastal conservation.
This initiative reflects MCL’s strong alignment with Qatar’s National Vision 2030 pillars, particularly Environmental Development, and underscores our belief that sustainability extends beyond our operations and into our community.
Through this meaningful participation, Modern Central Laundry reaffirms its dedication to promoting sustainable practices, supporting environmental conservation, and working collaboratively with partners like Earthna and ARTIC Group to make a lasting positive impact on our planet.
