DECC Green Credentials and Sustainability Initiatives - Sustainable Stand Construction & Material Reuse
Qatar Business Events Corporation (QBEC) - Doha Exhibition and Convention Center
- Shell Scheme & Modular Systems: Promoted through our partners for their reusability across multiple events.
- Reuse of Materials: Wooden flooring platforms and wall panels are reused wherever applicable.
- Recycled Wood: Provided by our partners when new materials are required.
- Carpet Repurposing: Carpets are reused after events for operational purposes, such as floor protection during build-ups and as material covers wherever applicable.
- Encouraging Recyclable Materials: Exhibitors and organizers are encouraged to use recyclable and reusable branding and stand materials.
- Long-Term Stand Reuse: For our own recurring events, such as DJWE, stand structures are designed and reused across multiple years. This reduces waste, lowers production demand, and reinforces DECC’s commitment to sustainable event practices.
