The school will initiate and organize several activities during the Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW) 2022 to accomplish Sustainability in both The Next Generation School and Qatar. Student Council will initiate the following Campaigns at school involving all the stakeholders with the ‘’Become a Zero Hero’’ initiative:

·       Zero Paper Waste Movement: To become Zero Heroes students will bring their used worksheets, used notebooks, and any other used paper for recycling at school by partnering with Elite Paper Recycling Company.

·       Say No to Plastic Campaign:

The students will have two activities with ‘’Life in Plastic is not Fantastic’’ theme.

1) T Shirt to Bags Campaign! The students will design reusable bags by recycling their old T-Shirts into bags to say no to single use of plastic bags in the state of Qatar.

2) Ban the Bottle and the Plastic Cup: The students will start a campaign for a week to ban the use of bottled water and plastic cups in the school and collect them to turn into recycle projects.
