Aman Hospital Sustainability Week: Caring for Health, Caring for the Planet

Aman Hospital will organize a week-long sustainability awareness and engagement campaign to promote environmental responsibility, resource conservation, sustainable transportation, waste reduction, and climate awareness among staff. Through interactive competitions , staff engagement, and educational activities, employees will be encouraged to adopt practical sustainable practices both at work and in their daily lives.

Best Out of Waste Competition
Staff will create useful, artistic, or innovative items from waste or recyclable materials. Entries will be displayed in the hospital staff dining area throughout the week. A judging panel will evaluate creativity, practicality, and sustainability impact, and winners will be announced at the end of the event.

Beach Cleanup Activity
Staff volunteers will participate in a beach cleanup campaign to help protect Qatar's coastal environment, remove litter, and promote environmental stewardship within the community.

Expert Lecture: Climate Change and Human Health
A healthcare professional will deliver an educational session on the impacts of climate change on human health, highlighting emerging health risks, vulnerable populations, and actions healthcare organizations can take to support climate resilience.
