Qatar Sustainability Week 2026 – School Implementation Plan
Our school will actively participate in Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW) 2026, a national campaign led by the Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The campaign promotes environmental responsibility by encouraging institutions, families, and individuals to take meaningful action within their communities.
In alignment with this vision, our school will run a week-long, whole-school sustainability program designed to engage kindergarten learners through hands-on, play-based, and inquiry-driven experiences. The focus is to build early environmental awareness and empower children to become responsible “Eco-Champions” who understand the importance of caring for the planet.
Whole School Approach – “Little Eco-Champions Campaign”
The campaign will begin with the launch of the “Little Eco-Champions” initiative, where children are introduced to the concept of sustainability in an age-appropriate way. Each class will develop a “Green Promise Board” where students share simple commitments such as saving water, turning off lights, recycling paper, and keeping their environment clean. Teachers will reinforce these habits daily through classroom routines.
