The highlight is the EcoCampus Tram Tour & Sustainability Scavenger Hunt, an interactive journey designed to familiarize participants with the Education City transport network and highlight key campus sustainability features along the route.
Event Mechanics:
Daily Theme Adherence: Participants commit to commuting to and around Education City using public or micro-mobility transport (tram, metro, e-bike, e-scooter, walking).
The Scavenger Hunt: Teams or individuals will be given a Scavenger Hunt Guide/Map with clues tied to specific locations accessible via the tram.
Clues will lead to sustainability-related landmarks or features in Education City (e.g., a specific recycling station, a solar panel installation, a unique architecture feature, or a partner university’s eco-friendly initiative).
Participants must ride the tram between stops, solve the clues, and document their findings (e.g., taking a photo with the landmark or answering a related question on a digital form).
Planned Itinerary: The tour follows a designated, exciting route on the tram, ensuring participants experience the network's full potential.
Prizes: The first teams/individuals to successfully complete the scavenger hunt will be awarded eco-friendly prizes or CMU-Q merchandise.
