Nakhl: Rooted in Palm Residency
An initiative by SCALE7 Labs, Nakhl: Rooted in Palm is a design and material innovation residency that explores the creative and sustainable potential of the palm tree — a symbol deeply rooted in Qatari heritage. Over a month, participating designers and innovators experiment with palm-derived materials to prototype new products that merge tradition with contemporary design. The residency is held in collaboration with Heenat Salma Farm and culminates in a public showcase celebrating sustainability, craftsmanship, and local innovation.
