Food Waste to Compost - How and Why is it important.

Founded in 2017, Wa’hab is a business start-up in Qatar that aims to reduce food wastage, currently being incubated under QBIC.

Wa’hab divert food waste off the landfill and convert it in to compost. We have the required logistics and technology to convert the food waste generated on various project site, large F&B outlets etc, which are currently being disposed at landfill, in to high quality Grade-A compost, using BioBIN - closed fermentation technology with odor control and mechanical aeration as well as using Wa’hab – ECO-Probe - Eco-friendly processing of food waste using Microbes.
