Planning for Future Sustainable initiatives for 2020


- Change to QATAR POST Fleet; 15% of vehicles will operate by CNG & 15% will be hybrid cars.

-The new QATAR POST (H.Q) to be a LEED Silver certified building

-Implementation of a new system that will re-use condensed water produced by air conditioners to irrigate plants.

- Replacement of Central AC systems working on R-22 to gas R410A systems (EER Rating 12.5) that are gold certified (8 stars).

- Switch to 100% environment-friendly materials for all postal services like plastic and paper.

- Planting 150 indoor plants at the Qatar Post HQ building to improve the office environment.
